February 2010 — "Cora’s must be one of those amazingly yummy breakfast meals IF you are #1, a breakfast person #2 NOT allergic to berries. But if you really fall under one of these categories, it definitely limits your choices. Of course, Cora’s was busy and had a good line up of customers waiting to be served. I wasn’t overly ecstatic to eat the breakfast food, but I would have liked to go in and get out. I shared a dish with a friend and of course, thinking that the plates looked huge, the one that we ordered, a bacon wrapped crepe of some sort. I didn’t hate it and I didn’t love it. It was just “eh” for me. It was disappointing that the waitress wasn’t as efficient as I would have expected. I will remember the next time to give this place a pass.The weekday menu has a couple of dishes that I wouldn’t mind trying, but it’s not on my list of must goes. "

"Long wait, but worth it"

Dec 0 — "My girlfriends and I decided to have brunch in Edmonton before heading out on our roadtrip. I've never been but I've heard so many good things about it so my expectations were really high. When we got there, we were told the wait would be over 45 minutes. This is quite ridiculous so had to see what the hype was all about. When we were finally seated, I was pleasantly surprised by the menu as it was very reasonably priced. I assumed that it would expensive since it was so popular. But maybe that's why it's so popular! Average price for a dish would be approximately $13ish dollars I would guess. As the orders are quite big, my friend and I decided to share a crepe with fruit on the side. This as I mentioned before, was about $13. It was a decent sized order and the crepe was full of ham. The best part was the abundance of fruit on the side. There were so many different kinds of fruit and it was very nicely presented. It tasted really good; I wouldn't have minded eating an entire one to myself. I think we will definitely be back!"
