March 2010 — "Located upstairs this place is probably not known to some people. If you haven't been there before then you should really try them out. Especially if you're going with a bigger group of people, this will be a perfect place to go. For below the average prices, the food is great and the portions are huge. Most of the newer places that are opening up always serves pretty small portions that are hard to share if you have more that 5 or 6 people. But at Ho Won Restaurant's Chinese food, if you don't have at least 5 or 6 people, you better not order too many items or you'll never finish everything. They definitely have the best salt and pepper squid I've ever had. The place is not fancy and doesn't have nice renovations like some others. But I'd rather have great food and great value for my money rather than great looking place with not so good food and small portions."
