February 2010 — "Recently a new pub opened in the same place about two or three pubs have been in the last five plus years. This pub is the Rusty Cage on 16th and I thought maybe I would give it another try after my last horrible visit when it was still the other pub. I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive renovations that have happened in the last month or so. They have moved the bar, added mirrors, booths and a downstairs area. Wow! Impressive. The first time I went there (we've been twice in a week), the manager actually came and talked to us for a bit which was really nice. The server was brand new, but she did a good job. We ordered wings to start. They have 50 flavours and they were delicious. I had the BBQ Mushroom Burger and it was delicious, but very messy. My wife had the Philly Cheese Steak and I tried out her leftovers the next day and it was really good too. I went back a few days later for Wing Night and was equally impressed, even though the service was a little off - It was very busy, since the Olympic Hockey game was on. I am so happy that they have finally put a good pub with good food and a good atmosphere in my neighbourhood."

Several times a week the stage comes alive with some of the city's hottest bands and of course, the pub's many TVs show the latest sporting events. On Wednesday and Sunday 29 cent wings are featured and the pub offers 50 flavours.
