November 2010 — "When one enters Mr. Mike's, the decor and signage suggests a west coast seafood restaurant. After winding around through divided areas, and stepping up to a different level, we were seated in a cozy little booth by a very pleasant hostess. All of the staff we saw had a smile for us and gave the impression that this was a happy place to be employed. After looking at the menu, I really had to smile since there was very little seafood listed. For a reason known to some of our family members, I immediately chose the Skooumchuk Chicken Sandwich. I picked the green salad from the choice of fries, salad or soup. The salad was very fresh, a treat for this time of year. A grilled chicken breast on garlic toast was well cooked, but not dry. The vegetable garnish was tastefully placed on the plate, making an inviting meal. My dining companion had a steak sandwich, cooked to his request, and served with non-greasy fries. The prices were very reasonable, and except for the fact that we had expected to be in a 'westcoast seafood' restaurant, we had a great meal."
