January 2011 — "Unless you count the five dollar Grey Goose - that was literally "on special" the day I dined here - there's not much to write home about when it comes to LoungeBurger.
The lounge in Loungeburger is on par with the decor of places such as Earls, Moxies and Joeys. It's full of dark finishes, flat screens and illuminated bar shelves. All of which are nice, but doesn't do much for the food itself.
My friends and I started our meal off with a combo of french fries. What we assumed would be a hefty plate of french fries, waffle fries and cajun fries was much closer to a sample; which for the price was just not acceptable.
For my main course, I tried the bison burger. Now when you consider this restaurant is supposed to specialize in its namesake, its quite sad that what I got was just not as good as some of the burgers I've sampled at other lounges. Don't get me wrong, the burger was fine, but it should have been so much more."

December 2010 — "When my favourite burger joint was closed for the holidays, I was devastated. I was craving a burger and had heard that Loungeburger was pretty good, so we headed there. It was about 3pm on a weekday, so the place was pretty dead. We were served by the bartender because we sat in the lounge. I really liked the casual yet upscale atmosphere and the layout of the restaurant. There are tvs everywhere, even in some of the booths, so you will never miss an important sporting event when dining here. The menu is filled with all types of burgers including turkey, elk and bison. I went for a typical AAA beef burger with bacon and cheese on it. It was very juicy. On the side I had onion rings which were made in house and drizzled with some kind of sweet sauce. Both the burger and onion rings were delicious. We shared a side poutine as well and it was good. Lots of gravy and curds. My wife had the Southwestern burger with jalepenos, bacon and monterey jack cheese on it and she loved it too. The service was very good, the atmosphere was great and the food was top-notch. Definitely will be back."

November 2010 — "I've been told that a reservation for the Loungeburger is highly suggested and so when I got there, I expected a very high end place buzzing with loads of people. It may have been because it was a week night, but it was not as busy as I expected, but it have a decent number of people. We ordered an appetizer, which was a little less calamari and a little too much other fried stuff. We each ordered our burgers with variations of french fries - very good. The burgers on the other hand were alright, but not great. I don't know about the other burgers but the ahi tuna burger, the shrimp burger and elk burger were…decent. Going to a burger place, I would say that they offer an array of different patties and the ahi tuna was very different, but because it was minced, there wasn't much bite to it and it lacked texture. The shrimp burger was pretty much the same thing, although the slaw that came with it was very flavourful. The other point I wanted to note was how odd it was that we had ordered our appetizers and finished it before the server came to take our burger orders. This isn't bad, but I almost think that I could attempt a similar recipe at home too. "
