November 2009 — "Making a trip out to Cochrane for fun, we came across this little restaurant/bar in downtown Cochrane. The moment we stepped in, we were greeted by the friendly staff. The interior of the restaurant felt like a tavern out in the maritime. The menu is simple with your common seafoods ranging with various types of fishes to your fresh oysters. The pricing is comparable to pub food. My friend and I ordered a mixed green salad for $4.50 to share. It wasn't a fancy salad but it was nice to have some greens before our entree. For our main course, we had their lobster penne dinner special for the day for $19.99. The portion was large enough that small eaters like us were able to share it comfortably. The quality was decent but obviously not superb compared to the more upscale restaurants. All in all, I was quite satisfy with our meal and it was a nice change to have a filling dinner for under $15 per person. Good place for some cheap eats!"
