December 2011 — "This is probably the best place you can go to for unlimited and multiple varieties of sushi and sashimi. This is unlike the other Japanese restaurants that offer all you can eat but only limit sashimi to salmon and tuna. The waiting line is extensive, especially on Asian night. I would suggest getting there at around 4:30-5:00pm-any later, expect to wait for an hour or two. The buffets opens at 5:00pm and the waiters come pretty often to remove your emptied dishes. There are free beverages as a plus. "

"Love the Seafood Buffet!"

September 2010 — "I have been to the Grey Eagle Casino Buffet & Restaurant twice now for its Thursday night Seafood Buffet, most recently this past September when a relative was visiting from California. I had been cautioned prior to my first visit and found it to be true, that you need to arrive very early to avoid standing in a line for ages. It is a bit of a painful process to actually get into the buffet, as you wait in line and only enter the restaurant once you have paid for your buffet experience. I can understand why they have to do it this way, so I don't really mind especially given the seafood heaven once I get inside. But be warned: show up early and be prepared to wait in line. Once inside, you are seated in a minimalistic restaurant and offered beverages. I always just get water, and immediately take off for the buffet. There are towers of cold oysters and prawns (full prawns, heads and all) as well as cold crab legs. Nearby there is a hot dish with lobster tails and huge crab claws and past that is an assortment of hot dishes including seafood casseroles, hot fish dishes, mashed potatoes, shrimp in tomato sauce, as well as prime rib for those craving some turf with their surf... All divine. There is also a salad bar. (It has a great variety, but not much traffic there - the focus is on the seafood!) After I overindulge at the seafood buffet, I might take a pass at the massive dessert buffet which typically contains many types of cakes, pies and puddings, not to mention the fruit and creampuffs surrounding the chocolate fountain. Needless to say, I leave every time with my seafood craving fully sated and a stomach much fuller than necessary."

"Worth the Gamble"

October 2009 — "Instead of making a big Thanksgiving dinner this year, my family and I decided to try the Grey Eagle Casino buffet. At $15 this was a great deal, and many other families thought so too. The line to get in was huge! However, the dinner was well worth the wait. The buffet isn't the biggest I've ever seen, but there is fantastic salad bar, a few soups and fresh bread, and a great selection of hot items to choose from. My favourite on the menu that night, was the lamb curry and the ham in bourbon pineapple sauce. I found all of the dishes surprisingly fresh for a buffet, my only disappointment was that they ran out of turkey, although they did try to compensate with chicken. The dessert bar is to die for, with a chocolate fountain, cream puffs, and an assortment of squares and pies. My dessert plate was almost as big as the main course. Even if you're not a gambler, I recommend you visit the Grey Eagle just for the buffet. "
