April 2012 — "I've ordered delivery service from the Crowfoot location several times now and each time has been excellent. My orders have always arrived quickly usually between 20 to 30 minutes. The food arrives warm and well packaged. The quality of the food is quite good. Their fried rice, ginger beef and ginger chicken are some of my favourites. I will definitely order from them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a quick and tasty delivery service."

"New Location in Brentwood Shops"

November 2011 — "Ginger Beef and Peking House recently disappeared from its longstanding location to reappear inside Brentwood Shopping Centre near the Safeway entrance. Now you can eat in the relatively tiny interior section or out in the hallway of the shopping centre and watch the people stroll by. There is a bit of a fence separating the tables from the people wandering by. Artificial plants add to the pleasant surroundings. I ordered the Diced Shrimp with Cashews and Vegetables. It tasted very good but in my opinion it was too heavy on the green peppers which dominated the meal and totally overshadowed the mushrooms, celery and red pepper. Glancing around I noted that there was a $7.50 all you can eat lunch special. That would be worth checking out. The service was reasonable but not outstanding. Most of the menu items hover around the ten dollar mark and there is a lot to choose from on the menu. Seafood dishes range from $11.50 for Ginger Squid to Dried Salt and Pepper Seafood Prawns, Scallops and Squid for $14.45. "

"Old Restaurant, New Location and Good Food"

October 2011 — "The Ginger Beef Peking House has moved into the actual Brentwood Village Mall next to the Safeway. They have tables in the mall hallway as well as inside the new restaurant. The menu is the same as before and has the standard fare one can expect from a Peking restaurant. The service was efficient and the food was hot and arrived quickly. I chose the honey garlic chicken (10.45) with a side of rice, which totalled a little under $13. The pile of chicken was well-cooked and the sauce was very tasty and sweet - they assured me there was no MSG in the meal although they emphasized it is very important to ask as it is inherent in many sauces that they buy. The interior of the restaurant is new and clean with pretty basic decor; the hallway tables are behind a small shelf of plastic plants, offering a little bit of separation between the mall dwellers and the restaurant patrons. There is also a lunch menu available between 11 and 2 pm, and an all you can eat plate and, of course, a buffet. This is a convenient and reasonably priced restaurant - I'd recommend it if you are looking for a quick meal while at the mall. "

"Best place for Peking Duck"

October 2009 — "They have anything from ginger beef and chicken balls for a more western style of chinese food to the tradition and one of my favorite chinese dinner, the peking duck. For anyone that don't know what it is. It's basically deep fried duck skin cut into small sizes like chips all spread out on a plate. Then you get something like pitas along with green onions, cucumbers and a sweet sauce to wrap the duck. The meat of the duck is used to make a soup, and a choice of fried rice or fried noodles. Everything tastes great. The peking duck dinner with the 3 dishes usually cost about $35. Every Wednesday they have a special for $28 which is a great deal since the dinner easily fees 3 or 4 people. If you haven't try peking duck or duck at all, then this would be a great place to try it for the first time. The service is good and food comes fast as well."
