August 2010 — "This place is rare because they are good at every dish they serve. Everything tastes fresh, and the guys who own this place couldn't be nicer. Definitely a good spot to grab lunch!"

July 2010 — "I have had the pleasure of getting take away from Saigon Night on more than one occasion and we'll continue to. The staff/owners are warm, friendly people. The food is prepared quickly and everyone has enjoyed their meals. (I would like more fish sauce with my Bun, but that's me.) I live in Mayland Heights and am glad that we have this restaurant in the community!"

"Soup was not hot enough"

January 2010 — "Decided to pay a visit to the newly opened Pho Noodle house in Mayland heights. Its nice to see some Vietnamese restaurants opening up in the area and I had high hopes that this might become one of our regular visits as we live fairly close. As one would expect from a new restaurant, the inside was nice and clean. It was pretty quiet the week night we visited but found the service to be a little slow. I ordered a regular Pho Dac Biet, (Beef Noodle Soup Special) and I found the temperature of the soup to be less than hot. Usually this soup should be served piping hot, but this was closer to the warm side, a definite deal breaker. There was not as much either as I would have liked and serving was on the small side, while prices were on the high side. I tried very hard to like this place, but I am not sure if this is the place for me. I may give it one more shot, since they are new and may still be trying to find their bearings."

"Amazing Place"

November 2009 — "I disagree with the above poster. I don't know where she's been eating but the dishes are very reasonably priced. 10-15 dollars is expensive? But I digress. The portion size is very standard for a Vietnamese place and the food is excellent. I have eaten there about 10-12 times since opening and I have only been disappointed once, and that time was because I ordered off the old menu over the phone and got something completely different. The owner is very personable and all of the workers have given me good service. They have recently got their liquor licence and they offer some Asian beers to boot. I would recommend this place to anyone. "

"New Restaurant"

October 2009 — "My boyfriend and I were really excited when this Vietnamese noodle restaurant opened up in the strip mall by our house in Mayland Heights. It’s within walking distance so we immediately went in when we saw that it had finally opened up. The décor is very nice and the service was very attentive, as it should be on its second day of business. Looking at the menu though, I had to say I was quite disappointed. For a not prime location, the prices were quite expensive, compared to other places anyway. Nonetheless, I ordered the vermicelli noodles with charbroiled pork and spring rolls. It came out quite fast (then again, there was one other person there) and again, I had to say I was disappointed. Just looking at my bowl, the spring rolls were so scrawny! They looked so small and meager. It all tasted about the same, but man, I was so upset. I’m glad I didn’t order spring rolls as an appetizer. Overall, I highly doubt we’ll be going back, even if it is within walking distance. "
