November 2009 — "I'm a regular here but it's not because of their food. Their food is okay and I like the fact that they have a frequent diner card where you get a stamp for each meal that you buy, and after 10 meals you get a free meal. Truthfully though, I would still come back without the card. I like this place because it looks nice, and has a nice view of the inner Harbor in the evening. It's also one of the few places in downtown where you can go on a Friday night and have plenty of seats to choose from. The wait staff is always very friendly and maybe it's because they're not super busy and going crazy like in the other downtown pubs. To me, this is quite a hidden gem. Hopefully, I'll have a few years of this before everybody else finds out about it. During lunch though, this place is packed from seaplane passengers and business people working in downtown. Maybe it's because people assume it's closed at night so no one comes by here. "

September 2009 — "Since this place recently opened, we decided to try it out. It's located in the Harbour Air seaplane building. The outside patio has a terrific view of the seaplanes and parts of the harbour. We were there at night and the backdrop of The Empress, the Disney-esque Parliament Building and moon lit clouds looked almost like a painting. The patio was heated but the overhead heating elements were directly over the tables next to the sliding glass doors, and I had heard those people were sweating! We sat at a table closer to the water, and while my boyfriend thought it was perfect, half of me was hot, and the other half was cold! I had one of their hard ice teas, berry something flavor. I wouldn't get it again because I felt like I was drinking just colored water. There were real blueberries in there which I liked though. I had ordered the seafood panini but they had run out of the regular panini bread and I okayed the replacement wholewheat bread replacement. I would say, next time, they shouldn't serve it if they don't have the right bread. The seafood mixture was good but the bread kind of ruined the expected panini experience. "

BulletDescription

Nosh on west coast inspired pub grub with a hint of Quebecois at this restaurant. With a chef transplanted from Quebec City, authentic poutine is guaranteed. Saying it is situated on the waterfront is an understatement, since it is actually floating on the water, perfect for watching the ocean, seaplanes and boats. Another highlight here is their impressive drinks menu with mojitos, martinis and a host of beers.
