September 2009 — "Dong Khanh Vietnamese Restaurant is just north of 16th Avenue NE tucked away in a strip mall in the Sunridge Industrial Park area. This restaurant is definitely worth seeking out if you work or live in the area. The menu boasts a wide selection of different Vietnamese dishes. I tried out a shrimp and crab meat with South Vietnamese noodles for the first time. This dish was surprisingly tasty and came with a lot more than just the shrimp and crab meat specified in the menu. The South Vietnamese style noodle is much different than the normal rice and pho noodles offered at other Vietnamese restaurants. This southern style noodle is a very thick white chewy noodle and comes in a clear broth. I highly recommend it for noodle fans. The restaurant also has an extensive drink menu with many different types of unique drinks. The prices in general were actually lower than most Vietnamese restaurants. Overall, this place has great value."
