September 2009 — "Rang Dong is located in the same strip mall as Lucky's Supermarket in Forest Lawn. I was in the area and decided to check it out. The little restaurant offers a selection of main Vietnamese dishes (broken rice, vermicelli, pho noodle) and a even bigger selection of beverages (lemonade, three bean, Vietnamese coffee, etc.) I ordered a rice dish with charbroiled pork, egg, and shredded pork. It was a very tasty dish. The pork and egg wasn't dry at all and the dish came out hot and fresh, which was really nice. The restaurant itself is quite plain and modestly decorated. How ordering works is you mark out on a piece of a paper what you want and the waitress comes by and takes the sheet. Then you go up and pay for it after. The service was normal. The prices were very reasonable. This place has slightly lower prices than other restaurants and makes a good quick lunch if you are in the area."
