July 2011 — "Stop for gas and get a meal at the Big Stop. There are several on the N.B. trans-Canada highway and they are all pretty much the same. The merchandise in store is overwhelming. The restaurants are huge and the service is generally good. The menu is standard and they have a different special each day of the week.
The special on Thursdays is Corned Beef and Cabbage, the old Jigg's favorite. I have not had it in ages so we both decided to try it. I was happy but my partner was not. The corned beef (a very hefty slice) was a bit dry and there was not enough liquid in the whole thing. It was more of a commercial version, lacking the homecooked flavor.
We paid $24.39 including the H.S.T., for two with no drinks or desserts. "

July 2010 — "The restaurant is situated about 20 minutes west of Moncton, the value you get it well worth the drive. The restaurant is designed around a truck stop theme, decoration reflect this and the truckers have a private section. As for me the general public the eating area is nice, clean and busy. There was a line up to enter the restaurant, it took about 10 minutes or so to be seated.
The menu consisted of a variety of choice, I opted for the hot chicken sandwich, it was very good and the portion was plenty. The grave tasted homemade and the fries were homemade, the meal was also served with peas and coleslaw.
The service was standard, nothing to complain about and nothing out of the ordinary.
The price was good and the meal was a good value, I would certainly go again and try their turkey dinner which they serve 7 days a week.

September 2009 — "I love a good, hearty breakfast and this place did not disappoint. In true truck stop fashion, the service is quick, somewhat friendly and offers good home-cooking and big portions. I decided on a farmer's style breakfast which came with pan fries, three eggs, toast, sausage and bacon. I was really impressed with the portion size, more than enough for me, which is rare. I actually couldn't finish it, which amazed my wife. Our server was really attentive, not overly talkative, but made sure our coffees were always filled. The restaurant itself is huge and can accommodate a ton of people. Although its a truck stop, I saw lots more families than anything, so it's a good spot for kids, too. The restaurant and bathroom facilities were both really clean. The location is an easy jaunt off the highway and I'll definitely be back for breakfast again. Good, cheap eats in a casual spot. "

September 2009 — "I stopped into this restaurant for breakfast, and although we were early, we had to wait for a table for about 10 minutes, it's a very busy spot. We had a very friendly and attentive server who had our coffees to us within seconds of sitting down. I decided on the BLT sandwich with grilled pan fries on the side and it was really good, one of the best BLT's I've ever had. The bread looked home-made, sliced thickly, and the tomatoes were really fresh. The pan fries were really good, too, not too greasy. The decor is typical for a truck stop, but we were really impressed with the raised beams and floor-to-ceiling windows, which made it feel like being in a lodge. The service was really prompt and we had our food within about five minutes of ordering. Great prices, too, for the amount of food that I got! I recommend a stop in for a hearty breakfast!"
