September 2009 — "A friend and I were out shopping at some of the big box stores and decided to grab a bite. We were out on Millstream Ave and this Loghouse pub was very handy. Nice flower baskets decorated the front entrance. It was past the lunchtime crowd so it wasn't too terribly busy. We chose a table by the window as it was slightly dark inside with lots of tv's on every wall with a sport of some sort being viewed. Lots of sports items hung on the walls. It was a beautiful day but really windy or we would have chose a table out on the patio. The waitress greeted us promptly and took an order for 2 caesars. They were good, but had no garnish. Usually at least a stick of celery accompany these drinks. My friend ordered the pound of dry cajun chicken wings ($10) and she likes them cooked really well which she requested. The came to her liking. It was around 3pm and I didn't want to spoil my dinner by having something really filling, so I ordered the green salad ($8) and it was huge and nicely presented. It had sprouts, chick peas, cucumber, tomato etc...accompanied by 2 sides of yogurt dill dressing and it was good. I have been to this restaurant before and can recommend the Thai chicken salad as well as the fish and chips. They are both good. They have burgers and the usual pub fare as well. The food was served quite quickly and the washrooms seemed clean as well. I would go back when in the area. "

September 2009 — "The loghouse pub is a classic that has been around as long as any other neighborhood pub in town. It is everything a pub is and should be, good pub fare, and claimed to have the coldest beer in town... My last visit was for wing night, having a loghouse burger, wings and an ice cold beer. What more could you ask for from a pub? The wings are the usual pub style, but the burgers really are pretty good. The patties are definitely homemade and are great. They also at one time made all their own salad dressings, including blue cheese for wings. You cant really ask for more... A friend I was with had a chicken caesar and first of all it was huge, definitely a size fit for a meal, but the dressing was really good and creamy, not the usual cheap stuff. This pub is worth a visit if you're around, you likely won't be disappointed."

The Loghouse Pub is actually a master-crafted building built of logs constructed in 1987. Special features include a large liquor store and an impressive 1300 sq ft non-smoking patio complete with palm trees. The menu has a large selection of appetizers, soups, salads, wraps and sandwiches, meat entrees and other pub dishes.
