July 2009 — "Sankyu 2 Go is a great little sushi place on Jasper Avenue in Edmonton’s downtown. Not surprisingly, it is busy over the lunch hour and there is very limited seating inside. However, as the name suggests, they can pack your order up to go if you’d like to take it to a nearby park or back to the office. I always get the bento box for under $12.00. It comes with your choice of two items from a big list, including beef, chicken or shrimp teriyaki, sushi, sashimi, tempura, etc. The bento box also comes with salad, spring rolls, rice and a drink. The food is made on the spot—you can actually watch them working in the kitchen. The atmosphere is okay, sort of cafeteria style and nothing really special, but it serves the purpose for a quick and tasty lunch. They also have a rewards card for five dollars off after you eat there five times, which I think is a great bonus."
