July 2009 — "The Three Bananas Cafe is a unique little coffee shop/café in Churchill Square in Edmonton’s downtown. It’s centrally located, has lots of indoor seating and a patio for when the weather cooperates. They have the usual selection of fancy coffees, at prices that compare to the others, but they proudly serve an unusual brand of coffee called Intelligentsia—a direct trade coffee company. They also set themselves apart from the others by offering some great meal items. They have two soups and three Panini specials that change daily. They also offer a few different thin crust pizzas that they make for you on the spot. And for dessert, there are homemade cinnamon buns! The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is very pleasant. You can always get a table and it’s never overly loud or crowded. It’s a great alternative to a sit down restaurant, something that is not always easy to find in Edmonton’s downtown."
