June 2009 — "Nordegg has always been one of my favourite places to visit and the Nordegg Lodge is by far the best place to eat. The restaurant has an interesting display of photos and information about the history of Nordegg decorating the walls. You can read how at one time this was a booming place in Alberta's history. The restaurant was busy the day we went. We ordered the special of the day which was a fish burger and we thought it was very nice. The fish was thick and tasty and the bun freshly baked. We overheard other diners at the next table mentioning how much they enjoyed their meal too. The service was good and our waiter was friendly and helpful. I'm not sure if it's the mountain setting or what but the coffee always tastes so much better here than anywhere else. I've been going to this restaurant for over 20 years and I've never had a bad meal yet."
