June 2009 — "This small cafe is set in the heart of Kananaskis country. It opens in May and closes in October when the snow flies. The day we went there were quite a few hikers in the restaurant and the atmosphere was very friendly. The menu is small but had a good variety of meals. We decided to try the paninis. We ordered a chicken panini and a pizza filled panini. Both were delicious and very filling. We had nice salads with our meals and of course coffee which always seems to taste better in a mountain setting. This is a beautiful spot to dine in and we stayed longer than we had anticipated just sipping our coffee and enjoying the scenery. The staff were all very friendly and stopped to chat when they weren't waiting on customers. The restaurant is very clean and the owners obviously take a lot of pride in their establishment. "
