May 2009 — "We went to Joey’s only for dinner on a Friday night. Unfortunately I was not impressed by this restaurant. The actual restaurant was very full and very crowded. The tables were very close together making it feel extremely warm in the restaurant. We were seated at a table that was not clean, nor did the chairs or the floor of the restaurant appear to be very clean at all. I even saw some ants crawling on the floor. We ordered fish and chips and although they were served very quickly, they were extremely greasy and not appetizing at all. Our daughter had a kids meal which was breaded chicken pieces and fries and they too were very greasy. I used the restroom at the restaurant and it appeared to be “under construction”. There was fresh paint in the restroom and the door handles and paper towel and toilet paper dispensers were lying on the floor. Again, the floor did not appear clean. Our waitress was adequate but due to the facility, atmosphere and greasy food, I did not enjoy my dining experience at all. I do not recommend this restaurant. "
