December 2009 — "This is awesome restaurant to take friends to and enjoy some drinks and good food! Located at the corner of Douglas Street and Pandora Avenue, Veneto offers tapas and drinks for everyone's different tastes. There are about 7-10 different types of protein which is then served in three different ways. I ordered the crab dishes and it was amazing! Very rich but good. One style was a crab cake, another came in a spring roll and third tapa was crap stuff in a pasta shell. I also ordered the grilled lobster and blue crab dip which was excellent! The tapas were $14 as well as the side dish. Also, I shared a half litre of red wine with a friend and it was heavenly. The wine smelled of chocolate and berries!! This was my first time checking this restaurant out and I would definitely go again and bring more friends with me!"

Catering to the sophisticated after work crowd, they have one of the largest by-the-glass wine selections in the city. The menu is contemporary with items like jerk rub tuna steak with black Thai rice, or New York strip roulade with spicy lobster stuffing. Veneto Tapa Lounge is situated on the main floor of Hotel Rialto.
