August 2009 — "The Grapevine Restaurant is part of Gray Monk Winery in beautiful Okanagan Centre. I love the view from Grapevine as it provides sweeping views of the vineyard below and Okanagan Lake beyond. The Friday afternoon lunch I had there was the first time I have eaten there and I was impressed. It is a tough place to get reservations in the summer as the seating is limited and they only reserve a small number of tables. But if you arrive early enough you should be able to get a table. All tables provide a fabulous view. Each item menu is paired with a recommended wine but I chose to do my own pairing as all of their wines are tasty. They have a number of meat options as well as a couple vegetarian options. I had the curry chicken dish which was served with a fruit salsa. It was great. The portions are small but truly good food with nice presentation. I shared a chocolate and raspberry mouse cake for dessert. The entire meal was fantastic and I would highly recommend taking the drive out to Okanagan Centre to go to Grapevines Restaurant."
