May 2012 — "I'll admit, I was wary about this pub. It has a fairly dodgy-looking location, just off Blackfoot in the industrial area. The whole strip mall it's in looks pretty run down, in fact. But when I arrived, I was suprised -- It's a lot nicer inside than it looks. It's not what you would call "fancy" by any means, but it's decent and I would even say kind of nice inside.
Anyway, there seems to be one reason people come here (the people I know, anyway.): The wings. I've had a lot of wings around Calgary and these are honestly the best I've ever had. They're juicy inside but perfectly crispy on the outside. What's more, they're never dry or over-sauced. I've always just sort of accepted that all wings were pretty much the same, but this place has ruined all other wings for me. They're just that good.
Anyway, you have a large variety to choose from -- my favourite is the honey garlic, but every flavour I've had has been good. There are lots of unique wing flavours like Grand Marnier (delish), dill pickle, tequila etc. They're all delish.

November 2011 — "Upon entering Mugshotz, one thing becomes obviously clear, more than half of the people in the pub at any given time are regulars. This place definitely has the feeling of a very well worn neighborhood pub, and in no way is that an insult.
I came here with some buddies to play pool and watch the game. The pub has conveniently placed their two pool tables into a semi-private area of the place, which makes it come off like you're just hanging out in your neighbor's basement.
While I wanted to try their famous wings, we happened to be here on the one night when they are full-priced, and at almost $1.00/wing, I held off and ordered a club sandwich with steak-cut fries. Now here's the thing, and it seems weird to complain about it, but the sandwich was GIANT, to the point where it was impossible to eat like a normal sandwich. The bacon, turkey, lettuce and tomato were all stuffed into three enormous slices of "Texas-style" bread that would make a sandwich at the Carnegie Deli blush. I ended having to deconstruct the whole thing just to consume it. Again, I can appreciate the sentiment, but the same contents of the sandwich would have been contained on normal slices of bread and it would have ended up being a better experience.
In the end however, the meal was a really good price for what you got and the place itself is a decent place to grab a drink or bite at, if you happen to be in the area.
