March 2012 — "On a random Wednesday night, I was with my Mom and we needed to find a place to eat quite late at night. We managed to sneak into Swiss Chalet about 15 minutes before they were scheduled to close and to our surprise and delight we were actually served. I can only image how annoyed the staff were that we came in so close to closing. Despite that, the server was super friendly, we got our food extremely quick and it hit the spot. "

March 2009 — "The South Edmonton Common area of the city is starting to acquire a few new chain restaurants but one of my favourites is still the Swiss Chalet. This restaurant is spotless and the service is quick and efficient. They have a good variety of meals on their menu so there is something that will appeal to everyone. The prices are very reasonable too. I usually order the half chicken with salad and baked potato and at just over $10 it's a good value meal. I am also impressed that the menu at Swiss Chalet has symbols indicating which meals are heart healthy meals. I usually like to take note of these when ordering. There are other convenient restaurants located in the South Edmonton Common area but they can be hit or miss with their meals and service. The Swiss Chalet is consistently good, reasonably priced and is a family friendly spot to dine."
