August 2009 — "My family and I were celebrating my father's birthday, and decided to head to Crystal Jade Chinese buffet. The restaurant is large and spacious, with tables that nicely accommodate large groups. The buffet offered a good variety of selections, and was well-stocked although a few items were cold. Aside from the usual Chinese fare, there are always several specialty items you are unlikely to find in buffets, including duck, crab legs and shelled prawns. Several dessert squares and a beverage bar round out the selection. The food is decent, if you are a buffet fan. Personally, I am more of a quality not quantity kind of gal, and this is not the best Chinese food in Victoria by far. At $85 for 6 of us before a discount coupon my dad had, I also find it pricey."
