July 2009 — "The Manor House Restaurant and Rock'n Horse Saloon makes a convenient stop when traveling south on Highway 70 to Tombstone or Bisbee. From the parking lot, it looks like a pretty fancy place, but upon entering the woody interior and eclectic wall and ceiling hangings make the place feel very comfortable. Gazing around, my eyes boggled at the full-size carriages/coaches hanging from the ceiling. The place was full of eye-catching paraphernalia. I ordered a burger and a beer, and although the burger was not memorable, it was enjoyable enough. The beer of course was great as there is nothing like the desert to make you appreciate a cold one. Like most places in southeastern Arizona, the menu also offered a variety of Mexican dishes. The server was friendly but not very helpful when asked about the area. After each question her eyes would widen and she would enthusiastically gush, "I have no idea!" She was definitely an interesting and entertaining part of our experience at the saloon. In summary, this is a convenient place to stop, with okay food and good beer, but get your information from the tourist bureau."
