November 2009 — "Some friends and myself decided to check out Dover Pizza on a Friday night.
The menu has a huge range of choices, I deicided on the famous dry ribs and jalapitos with a garlic dip for an appetizer. I picked the 10oz top sirloin with stuffed potato as my main course.
The appetizers were delicious, the garlic dipping sauce stayed true to it's word. It was packed full of garlic, smooth and creamy, the jalapitos were deep fried to a golden brown. The dry ribs were tasty, it was nice to have dry ribs that had more meat then bone. I had to pack half of the ribs to go, so I had room for my steak.
The steak was cooked perfectly, very tender, the stuffed potato was very tasty. Veggies and a slice of garlic toast was also included.
We all left very full and satisfied with our meals and service. We'll definitely be there next Friday for another steak night.

November 2009 — "Stopped in at Dover Pizza on a whim. Loved the local atmosphere! Obviously a place that is frequented by regulars - always a tell-tale sign of a good place.
I plan to return to delve deeper into the vast menu (especially the pizza), but will say that the service in the sports lounge was great and I will certainly be back! "

March 2009 — "I went to this resto for lunch during a weekday.
It looked like a dive, but this is OK and what I expected. The hum of VLTs created an ‘I have a bad feeling about this’ worry. This wouldn't have mattered as long as the food was good. We were surprised that there were only about 4 other customers there for lunch... not a good sign.
I had the Jalapitos as an appetizer that came with a garlic dip. The dip was overpowering with garlic. The Jalapitos were nothing more than grocery store jalapeno poppers you can just microwave. Not a good start. I then had a 10” sausage, pepperoni, beef and green pepper pizza. It tasted alright, and was worth it since it was half price pizza day. At full price I would have been upset. The cheese and toppings slid off the dough on every first bite which was annoying. My girlfriend had a chicken pita sandwich that was very bland. Even dipping it in the tzatziki sauce that accompanied it did nothing but make your breath smell even worse after the Jalapito garlic sauce. She didn’t like this at all and after I tasted it as well, I made sure she had some of my pizza so she wouldn’t leave hungry.
The service was quick, but the server was very forgetful. She blamed it on a sleepless night.
We definitely won’t be back here. The only reason we visited this restaurant was because I had read about it. I want to find that review so I can see why in the world it was recommended.
