February 2011 — "Pink Sugar Cupcakery on Fort Street is one desert establishment you won’t want to miss out on. They make small batches of their unique variety cupcakes daily which is part of their own commitment to help the environment. They have regular size cup cakes and offer mini cup cakes so you can try a few of the great flavors. They even off gluten free cup cakes which makes it easy to have a sweet treat. They use fresh ingredients and even offer man cakes, (you’ll have to go to visit them or their website to see what it’s all about),
When I walked into Pink Sugar it was like stepping into a sixty’s parlor shop, very clean and bright. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the cupcakes. When I arrived I was the only one in the store and after a few minutes the store was getting busier with repeat clients looking for their favorite mini cup cake. My partner and I picked up a half dozen of mini cup cakes and the first one I tired was the Sin-a-Mint which is a chocolate cake with a mint frosting, so good! My partner tried the peanut butter cupcakes and he’s not really into cup cakes but he said it was going to be his new favorite desert.

March 2010 — "Who doesn't love a cupcake? Soft, pillowy goodness meets rich, creamy extravagance, right in the palm of your hand. It's a wonderful thing. So if your in the mood for just such treat, I'd highly recommend Pink Sugar. The ladies there have made an art out of cupcakes, producing a variety of those handheld delights, each with its own character and playful name. The standards such as "a Limey Bunch of Coconuts", "the Elvis", and "Dessert at Tiffany's" are instant winners, while a selection of adventurous (and equally delicious) flavours continue to rotate in and out of the display shelves.
The shop is located in a busy downtown spot on Fort Street, and, though I miss their old Fernwood location, it is easy to understand the reasoning for such a move. Large storefront windows frame a hot pink interior, dainty white decor, and an illuminated display, making it almost impossible to miss."

June 2009 — "For my wife's birthday she wanted a plain pound cake made with real butter. Phoned many places and one of the only bakerys that was willing to make one for me was the Pink sugar cupcakery. I never before had anything from there....but it was the best pound cake I had ever tried, my wife angrees. Everyone at the Party loved it. They don't specialize in pound cakes, they were just wonderful to make one just for us. It's nice to see a business that cares about customers. I will certainly be doing more business with them and will tell about them to all my friends. My old bakery just lost my business."

May 2009 — "I challenge you to enter this bakery without smiling. I've been in a couple of times now and can't help but smiling like a giddy school girl each time. I even asked the shop clerk if they ever get anyone not smiling and she said it was rare. Customers are welcomed with pink walls and the cupcake bar displays a rainbow of colours of cupcakes encased in glass pedestal cake platters. There are cholocate and vanilla with all sorts of variations in filling and colour. And while the icing is amazing, it is not just about the icing as the cupcakes themselves are moist and rich. You can buy cupcakes to eat on the go, or by them by the half-dozen. Mini cupcakes are also available and would be perfect if you were bringing dessert to someone's house."
