February 2009 — "This was an early morning breakfast with a client. He suggested we go to The Stanford Inn, a little restaurant attached to the hotel, he wanted to go there because it was close to his work and he often eats breakfast there. The place was about 50% full and as we made our way to our table about 10 people said good morning, obviously a favorite spot for the business people in the area. The service was good - I wish I could have said the same for the coffee, however the menu had a nice variety of breakfast options, I went for the standard Bacon and eggs with rye toast. My toast was so over buttered I had to fold it in half to pick it up..regardless, I ate it..I don't like eggs with out bread. The staff was nice, we were given our bill promptly and thanked very much for the business. I would go back, but next time I will ask for no butter on my toast."
