July 2011 — "I stopped in here today to give this place a whirl. It was a nice location and it seemed to have a fair number of folks coming and going. I went in, and was not too sure where to place my order. I had to observe the natives to figure it out. The pick up is in the middle (this was clearly marked). I had to order at the cash register, which is opposite from the major sub chains (thus my confusion).
I ordered a classic smoked salmon to go. The wait was not that long, and it was a fine place to hang out. I was given a smart little box and I hustled back to my office. I opened it up and was impressed by all the segmented little packages containing my (still warm) bagel, chips, coleslaw and a pickle (in it's own little wrapper). For those that don't like their food intermingling, I would say this is a great choice.
The food tasted fresh and good, and the bagel seemed to be of reasonable quality. The cream cheese was a great density and the onion added just enough to amuse the palate.
I am glad they have a frequent user card. I will likely go back."

March 2011 — "My friend and I had one of those groupon coupons to come try this place out. We decided to head over for lunch. It was just recently bought by some Japanese chefs so it was a really strange concept as they kept the original idea of a bagel shop, but then also sell sushi on the side. The décor was really nice and homey but still very modern. I honestly don’t know why I chose the sushi plate at place called Red Head Bagel, but I did along with a café latte. The total came to $9 for 8 pieces of sushi and the coffee. I was pleasantly surprised with the price as sushi is not usually $5. Unfortunately, the food itself was not that great. The sushi was just whatever, and the coffee, well it was fine. I think I would try it again, but I would definitely get the bagel. My mistake for not trying it the first time. Everything and everyone deserves a second chance though right?"
