December 2009 — "Everything about this place was average, the food, the decor, the service. It is not too good but it is not awful either. The restaurant was alongside the strip mall on Douglas street where we had been shopping so it was a convenient place to grab some lunch. We arrived at the end of a rush so it took a while to get seated which was understandable. I went for a breakfast special, which was four pieces of toast, hash browns, egg, two sausages and ham. Way too much food for one person so I did feel bad about not finishing it and wasting food At $11.99 it was a good deal. My spouse chose the pulled pork sandwich and that was disappointing. The pork was dried out and she had chosen yam fries which were overcooked. Our server was nice enough to say right away the fries were not good enough and she had requested new fries to be cooked which she brought out a few moments later. That redeemed her as earlier when I asked for a new set of cutlery, she advised me it was not dirty it was only soap residue stuck on the knife. She did bring me a new set though when I mentioned I would still prefer a new set. Our comments upon leaving was we should have tried the Japanese restaurant around the corner."

February 2009 — "While on a trip to Victoria, we decided to stop at the ABC Country Restaurant for a quick brunch. This restaurant is conveniently located on Douglas Street just heading out of downtown. The restaurant was very clean and we were quickly seated by a very friendly host. Our server was also friendly and fast to bring us our beverages. The restaurant was quite busy but we still received great service. On the advice of our server, I ordered the farmer sausage skillet which contained hashbrowns, cheese, tomatoes, green onions, green peppers, mushrooms, sausages, two eggs and toast on the side. Our server was correct, the skillet was very delicious and the portion was quite large. My wife ordered just a side of hashbrowns and the fruit bowl. The fruit bowl was huge and contained lots of fresh melons, grapes, pineapple and strawberries. The prices were reasonable and we would visit this restaurant again. "
