January 2009 — "I hadn't been in this pub in south west Calgary in about four years and I was surprised to find that the place is just as welcoming as I had remembered. We stopped in for a drink and some appetizers before a movie and ended up staying longer. The pub is clean and cozy looking with a menu board on the wall listing all the daily specials. Their prices seemed very reasonable and a good variety of dishes available. We only felt like the hot wings that night and they were very nice. We could see that the other diners seemed to be enjoying the meals they had ordered and the food looked delicious. The best part about this pub is their welcoming attitude. Our waiter joked and made us feel as though we were old friends coming in for a drink. I guess you could call it a country pub in a big city with a welcome mat at the front door."
