September 2009 — "I really like 50's diners, especially the style of food served, so I just to had to stop into this one. It definitely had the theme down, but I found it dirty and needing renovations. I'd heard that their clam strip platter was good so I ordered that and made the side of fries a poutine instead. Our server was a little slow taking our order and it didn't seem like the area she was working was that busy. From start to finish, we were in the restaurant for over an hour and a half, and this was for lunch! Apparently, speed is not a factor here. The food made up for the slow pace, though. The clams were nicely breaded and the portion size was great. Probably some of the best clams I've had in the area. The poutine was really good, too, the gravy was really nice. Overall, I probably would go back for the clams again, but I'd be sure I had lots of time to spare. "

September 2009 — "I'd been wanting to check out this restaurant for a while, which is a 50's-theme restaurant, complete with the neon lights, checkered floors, jukebox, red vinyl seats and tons of James Dean, Elvis and Marilyn Monroe posters. I found the facilities a little tired and dirty, actually, it looked like it needed an update and a good scrub-down. There were far too many laminated posters everywhere with specials, seasonal selections, etc...made the surroundings very busy. The food, though made up for the lackluster decor. I decided on a hot turkey sandwich with fries and it was pretty satisfying. Not much white meat, but good nonetheless. The fries were really good, too. Our server was decent, but it took her a while to take our order after she delivered our drinks. I ordered a piece of lemon meringue pie to go after seeing it in their dessert case, and it was delicious and by far the best part of the diner experience. "
