April 2011 — "My wife and I were craving some Vietnamese food for dinner. We located this restaurant on 17th avenue sw called Pho V.K. Not knowing or hearing about this restaurant, we decided to take the plunge. Upon entering, there were a few tables and it was quite empty. It was clear that this was a family run establishment with some kids doing their homework at one of the tables. This did not bother us at all, in fact, it was nice to see the family charm. I ordered my usual rice vermacicelli with bbq pork and springrolls. My wife had a satay soup. I would rate my meal as being average. It was nothing great, but also nothing to complain about. It hit the spot. I did find that they provided plenty of vermicelli noodles, however, it lacked bbq pork. The springrolls were also fairly small. My wife too, found her food to be adequate. If in a bind and needing a vietnamese restaurant to go to, I would return. However, there are plenty of other Vietnamese restaurants I would prefer."

January 2009 — " 3 fellow co-workers (construction) and I stopped into to this interesting vietnamese cuisine today for lunch called 'Pho V K Vietnamese Cuisine'. Its located just to the south west side of the intersection at 14st and 17ave SW. Busy, as we are we are always pressed for time through-out the day, and strolling in at noon you would expect the service to be a bit slow; however, we managed to enjoy delicious bowls of Pho soup including appetizers and drinks and were out the door again in under 30 minutes!!!! WOW.
Walking in you really got the feel of any vietnamese restaurant, the portraits on the wall, sculptures on shelves, chop sticks on the tables. What impressed me was the remarkable service as well as the quality of the food. Fast and Hot! I had 3 deep fried pork dumplings to start mmmm.... and barely had time to finish before the Pho soup with well done beef, vegetables and chicken breast was served on the table. The waitress was by everytime the glasses were empty and the price is certainly right!!!! In and out."
