"Hidden In The Industrial Area"
July 2011 — "Talk about bang for your buck. The restaurant is quite new but rent must be cheap in the industrial area of Airdrie. I couldn't believe how much food I received on the 4-item plate. Every plate comes with fried rice or noodles and sauteed broccoli. Then you choose 4-items if you're that hungry. You can choose from ginger chicken, ginger beef, black bean chicken, lemon grass chicken, spring rolls, chili pepper fried squid. I went with the lemon grass chicken, spring roll, ginger beef, and squid. The lemon grass chicken wasn't very flavourful. They didn't let it sit with the lemon grass long enough. The spring roll was good. The ginger beef was a little tough and dry but it seems like it's that way most places it's served. The squid was quite good and tender with a light deep fried breading similar to that of chicken balls.
Our server was quite nice and must have said "thank you" twenty times from the time we walked in the door to the time we left.
Check this place out if you're looking for a cheap but filling meal served up faster than you can blink. "

March 2009 — "I have tried all the chinese places in Airdrie, and this one is byfar the best!!!!! The food arrived hot, and it had great flavor. I can't stand when some chinese places put too much sauces on there food, to make it seem like more food. This place does it just right, I can't say enough about it. My business won't go anywhere else now."

January 2009 — "The restaurant was short staffed but they still managed to get our take out order done quickly. The food is fresh, tasty and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this restaurant. As Airdrie has few chinese food take out/restaurants, this one met our expectations, which in this day and age eating out is not always a pleasant experience. Customer service and quality of food has declined, but not at Asia Wok. YUM!"
