December 2008 — "I always enjoy stopping in at the Tamarack restaurant because the service is always good and the surroundings clean and neat. They have a very large menu plus a good selection of drinks to choose from. I have always found the prices reasonable too. I ordered the beef dip sandwich which was very nice. The beef was tender and the bun freshly baked. I had a big side of fries and a salad with the meal as well. The others in my party ordered steak sandwiches and they were very happy with their meals as well. The steaks looked to be a good size and very tender. This restaurant is nicely decorated and has a number of local artists paintings on display and for sale. The staff are friendly too and we liked the fact that they stopped to talk to us instead of just taking our order and leaving. I have been coming here for the last 8 years and have always enjoyed the service and surroundings. "
