January 2009 — "It was -20C outside and we were in Red Deer wanting a hot breakfast. We decided to try Denny's located at the south end of Red Deer. It was great to see that this place had a senior's menu. I ordered the Senior Starter which was one egg, hash browns, bacon and two pieces of toast. It was very good and filled me up. It was nice to see that this restaurant had many items on its breakfast menu. Breakfast must be their specialty.
The only problem we had was that even though the waitress was firendly she was very slow in bringing us coffee so I only got one refill during the meal before we had to leave. She also forgot that we asked for jam and peanut butter with our toast. Otherwise it was a good meal.
Denny's is clean and nicely decorated and I would definitely stop there again."

December 2008 — "Denny's is one of those restaurant chains that seem to be consistent with good food and fast service.
We always enjoy their breakfast menus because there is so much to choose from. Denny's Grand Slam breakfast is one of our favourites. You can choose four items from their grand slam choices, so we sat down to a meal of eggs, bacon, pancakes and sour dough toast. They have a large selection of omelets to choose from and if you're really hungry there is a steak and egg breakfast that would certainly fill you up. For those less hungry in the morning they have lighter choices like fruit and cereal. They also have a large menu for seniors (over 50's) and a great menu for kids. In other words they cater to all tastes and appetites and the prices are always reasonable.
The coffee is good, the service fast and friendly and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. I've never been disappointed with a Denny's breakfast.
