September 2008 — "Le Pirate de la Mer/The Pirate of the Sea in the seaside village of Bouctouche is home of the "2-for" lobster and crab rolls (prices vary by season, but we got ours for $6 for 2). As is typical for the area, the seafood is served in a top-slot hot dog bun lined with lettuce and the lobster or crab is mixed with a bit of mayonnaise. The bun is lightly buttered on the sides and toasted lightly, making it nice and crunchy, while the meat is fresh and juicy! We chose to take our food to go as the restaurant is quite small and all the tables were full. If it hadn't been so windy, we would have eaten on the patio, which has lots of seating and offers great views of Bouctouche Bay. You can make your meal into a platter by adding their home fries, which we got on the side to share. Overall this little takeout is a great choice while in the area."
