August 2009 — "Wok Box on Edmonton’s Jasper Avenue is a great pick for a quick lunch if you’re downtown. It is usually quite busy but it never takes very long to get your food. There’s a surprising amount of seating inside, and they’ll always pack your food in a cute little to go box if need be. I have tried several of the meal items but most recently I opted for the lemon chicken with rice. It was very tasty but the chicken was battered and fried, which I wasn’t expecting. However, on previous occasions, I’ve chosen the noodle option instead of rice and I’ve always found it quite greasy. I’ve heard the Butter Chicken is excellent, and that’ll likely be my choice the next time. One complaint: since the place is quite small, the last time we were there it filled up with smoke from the grill and actually left our clothes smelling for the rest of the afternoon. I’d keep this in mind if you’re headed to an important meeting after lunch."
