November 2008 — "This little café was recommended to me, as a good place for coffee and cakes, by a friend and it was a great recommendation. It is a little bit hidden away in one of the arcades off Briggate the main shopping street in Leeds, but well worth the hunt to find it. It has counter service and the counter shows off lots of tasty looking treats including the chocolate brownie that we ordered which is simply to die for. They also offer up sandwiches and a roast beef Sunday lunch and all their dishes are prepared with locally grown produce. We sat on comfy chairs in the window and chatted over our hot chocolates, lattes and brownies. The place has a cozy atmosphere and can seat probably 20 people, probably about half on comfy sofas the others on dining type chairs. The staff were very friendly even when we held them up from closing as we spent so long chatting. A great place with yummy treats. "
