"Great Value Along the Bow River"

July 2011 — " Angel's is located at the north side of The Boothman Bridge which takes pedestrians across to Edworthy Park from the Bowness Road parking area. I have gone past it many times but never gone in. There are two areas. One is an outside patio area that is really pleasant. Apparently they sometimes have music there as well. A sign indicated that there had been Karaoke on Thursday night and an open stage on Friday evening. The other section is a screened in area overlooking the river. Angel's has wraps, burgers, hotdogs, coffee and cappuccino, ice cream and more. They even serve breakfast! I was really impressed with the prices. The vast majority of menu items were less than $5. I had a spicy chicken wrap for $4 and change and a hotdog for a bit over $3. My double scoop of ice cream was about $3.50. The food was all very tasty and I enjoyed the whole experience. Check it out!"

"What a Great Little Place Right on the River!"

July 2011 — "We've lived near Angel's for years but it always seems packed when we walk by so we've never ventured in. At the crossroads of the bow river trail and the Edworthy Park bridge, Angels is a small, family run business serving up a whole variety of healthy fare, cappuccinos et al., and of course, icecream. They have created a private patio with various seating arrangements and big baskets of flowers, or you can choose to sit at one of the few tables in the tiny cafe or at the edge of the riverbank on a lawn chair. Inside is decorated with angel paraphernalia and lots of wholistic advertising. I decided on the veggie burger with cheese and fried onions (5.00), as well as a baby size chocolate brownie ice cream cone (1.50), both of which were delicious! As a veggie burger consumer, this was one of the tastiest, juiciest burgers I've had so far - of course the fried onions and cheese helped immensely. Angel's is a terrific addition to a walk along the beautiful bow. "

October 2008 — "We just grabbed a sandwich and a bottle of water at this quaint little place, mid-bike ride, but I quite fell in love with it. Angels is set right on the bank of the Bow and has a cozy, homely feel. There are about four tables inside, all by the windows and overlooking the river, or you can sit outside on the grass in the sunshine, which is what we did. All the counter food looks great, from sandwiches and wraps to cakes and salads. I can at least confirm that the chili chicken wrap is good! Everything is reasonably priced and the blackboard menu features a range of hot casual dishes. Apparently the coffee is great, so I'll definitely be ordering one next time. The service is friendly too. "
