September 2008 — "What a pleasant dining experience! As soon as you step into the warm brick and wood interior and are greeted by cheerful staff, you know it's gonna be good. The food is excellent. I had a veal pasta (can't remember the name of the pasta type, but it was like a very wide fettuccine), which was bursting with flavour and cooked to perfect tenderness. Other dishes on our table included a risotto and the stuffed veal special, and we gave in to a couple of tempting desserts to share too. Our server was very friendly, confident and helpful, and when our bill came at the end of it we were all very pleasantly surprised! The restaurant was only about half full on a Saturday night at about 9pm (which is puzzling because this place is GREAT) and we were the last to leave--to friendly thank-you's and good-bye's from the bar staff and owner. I'm looking forward to a delicious dinner there again soon!"
