March 2009 — "We recently dined at Plaka. The food was good. I had the roast lamb. It was tender and a generous portion. My wife had the stuffed chicken which was also tender and delicious. I didn't enjoy as much the accompanying vegetables which I thought were somewhat overcooked. I also did not think the Calamari appetizer was as good as other versions. However, all in all a fun experience and we would repeat. "

May 2008 — "Wonderful food in a low-key location. The servers are friendly and personable, ready to recommend a dish. The hummus and tzaziki dips are amazing and the Caesars are among the best in the city. A solid menu is upheld by a skilled chef and the small dining room gets busy during the evening. "
