July 2008 — "This is an unusually located little coffee place in Coleman. We noticed it as we drove along the main Highway 3 and figured how could we not try out the coffee house in the Church. We approached the steepled building with a little trepidation and then read the notice on the door, declaring that we absolutely had to park to the east of the church and not the west, which belonged to the neighbouring Rum Runner bar. Being rule-abiding citizens we immediately returned to our vehicle and re-parked at the whim of the warring businesses. We could easily have carried on our journey but having got this far we stumbled inside the old Church. It was an unusual place inside too. The coffee bar area was completely open and the whole place felt kind of disheveled. There were armchairs, sofas and easy chairs all with different coverings. In addition, antiques, herbal remedies, and books were for sale. The guy behind the counter was very chatty and welcoming and we enjoyed a blueberry scone and cinnamon rolls with our coffee for lunch. The bathroom was clean and well kept, so overall it was a good stop off, but be prepared to be the only customers."
