April 2010 — "I'm not gonna lie, Logan's is a bit of a dive. However, they've got a mean kitchen. It's a shame, the only thing I knew about the place for the past couple of years was that they got cheap beer and put on lots of shows. The beer gave me a head ache, and usually the music did too. But the kitchen, nobody told me about the kitchen! That is until my friend started spinning records there and was given free meals as a perk. On his recommendation, my girlfriend and I stopped in for some lunch. We both walked out with full stomachs and a new favourite place to eat. Poutine fans rejoice. They offer three or four different types. We shared the yam poutine (highly recommend), and a panini which came with a fantastic beet-carrot salad. On top of good eats, Logan's also has some good servers. Our waitress was very cool, attentive, and friendly. So, even for those who may not be into punk rock, it turns out that Logan's has something good to offer. "

December 2008 — "I go to Logan's alot to see bands and have a few beers, but up until now, I'd never tried anything from their menu. I'd been there with people who'd grabbed something to eat, and everything looked good...so I was actually anticipating grabbing a burger when I was stuck there one evening over the supper hour. I was feeling like a burger and fries...so that's exactly what I ordered. The burger came quickly, and looked great with a thick, hand shaped patty, tasty looking bun, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, and ample fries. Upon first bite, I was disappointed. Logan's could have had a real winner with their burger, and I would have been back again and again, but the patty had no flavor. I mean, it tasted like beef, but that's it. No spices in the meat. No charbroiled flavor. No special sauce? It was a great looking burger that just didn't deliver in the flavor department. I enjoyed it for what it was, and ate every bite, but in a city with so many pubs, with as many choices in pub burgers, I probably won't be back for one at Logan's. Sad, cause I'm a burger guy, and I like Logan's...but I'll probably be eating elsewhere before heading over to Logan's next time."
