November 2008 — "We moved to Turner Valley 4 years ago and found a wonderful little pizza place, Granny's. We had come from the city and we have ate our share of pizza but Granny's is at the top of the list. The owner is always friendly and does a great job running the business on his own. Granny's has never let us down. We actually order out quite often from Granny's."

May 2008 — "We stopped in at Granny's Pizza on Saturday evening, and boy can this place bake a mean pie! I got the Southwestern style pizza and it was the best pizza I have had for a long time. I alos got their homemade lemonade, and it was actually homemade!, good stuff. My buddy opted for the BBQ Chicken Dinner, A huge plate of chicken, these awesome homemade fries, and coleslaw, all for under 10 bucks, great deal. The chef there was very busy, but we still got our food promptly, poor guy was on his own! At the end of the meal, the chef made us this mocha brownie dessert that was to die for. One small complaint, no beer!, but the chef did say to us that they were just finishing up renovations, and that he was getting a liqour license in the summer. Overall, great Place, awesome pizza!"

May 2008 — "On a Sunday outing, we found ourselves in the lovely little town of Turner Valley, very hungry. Many of the restaurants were not open (not sure why) and we ended up going to Granny's Pizza, a little hole-in-the-wall in a strip mall. I had heard good things about the pizza from a friend who used to live in Turner Valley, and I guess I should have gone with the pizza. Instead, I opted for a barbeque chicken dinner, something I haven't had in a very long time.
For $4.95, I got a piece of chicken, gargantuous home cut fries and some type of gravy with garlic bread on the side. It sounds like a heck of a deal, but the grease was too overwhelming to enjoy the food. The fries were literally swimming in the grease, and the garlic bread was actually soggy.
Now, the person behind the counter was obviously very busy making pizzas as I think the place is really more of a take-out joint (chairs were piled up near the back of the little space we were sitting in with the obligatory baby chair on the top of the heap), but to destroy a simple dinner like that was really unforgivable. It took almost 45 minutes to get that dinner, and the only consolation for us was listening to an old classic rock station and playing the game ‘Name That Tune'.
