March 2012 — "Travelling with friends who love the White Spot, we made our second visit to the franchise in downtown Victoria. The building exterior and the landscaping at the corner of Douglas and Caledonia is very nice. Unfortunately, a busy intersection and some aging motels and parking lot otherwise surround it. The parking lot was also very inconvenient to enter and exit with motel patrons making it difficult to do either. The interior is similar to other White Spots, with modern decor, dark finishes, and bright lights. One of my dining partners convinced me to try their Legendary burger. It’s a 1/4 pound of beef with lettuce and tomato (cheese costs extra) and their Triple 'O' sauce. The burger was meaty and juicy. I especially liked the all-you-can-eat fries; I had seconds! The fries were served crisp and warm. The White Spot is great if you want the same, dependable food, but I would recommend non-chain restaurants in heart of downtown Victoria."

December 2011 — "The great thing about White Spot is consistency. Are you going to get an amazing meal? No. But what you will get is good food at a reasonable price. If you stick to breakfast and lunch menu items, you can't go wrong. "

March 2008 — "We ended up stopping at the White Spot restaurant as we were heading out downtown Victoria. It was easy to spot on the Douglas Street and looked nice from the outside. Inside, the decor was very nice with a water wall at the entrance. The waitress said they had recently had a renovation. We chose to eat on the restaurant side rather than the bar side. The bar side had several televisions for viewing sports and was fairly busy. We were seated and served our beverages almost immediately. My husband ordered the eggs benedict and I had chicken quesdilla. Both orders were served quite quickly as well and we both enjoyed our meals. It was a very fair value for the money and even the appy sized quesdilla was plenty big enough for me. This is a family restaurant with booth seating which offers some comfort and privacy while eating. We found the service very good and would definitely go again. "

Burgers, curry bowls, soups and salads are all found on the menu at this chain restaurant, its illustrious history stretching back to 1928. A contemporary decor and cuisine makes this restaurant still popular today. A children's menu makes it family friendly.
