February 2012 — "The Black swan in SW Calgary is a great place to catch up with friends around great pub grub and affordable drink specials.
I love the there are more than one pool table and that it only costs a doller per game.
We went with a group of friends for her birthday party and had a great time. I am even considering going there for my birthday this summer. They have a large patio, big spacious tables and lounge area.
I ordered wings which were on special for 25 cents each, and Ricard's white pints.
My husband and I also nibbled on the Spinach and artichoke dip which was fresh, and hot.
Served with whole wheat pita chips.
The wings are very large and a great deal, i'm so sick of going out and ordering wings and getting such small ridiculous looking wings!
These were real meaty and filling. Very good!
We ended our night with a few games of pool, enjoyed music laughter and great service.
Our bill arrived and we felt it was very affordable.

February 2012 — "I went out with a bunch of friends to celebrate with drinks n pub food.
We had a great time at Black swan eating and drinking.
We were served by two different waitresses and received great service regardless of the size of our group.
There were about 15 of us and several food orders and drinks orders going at all times of our time spent there.
I ordered for the table the bruchetta sampler, Jalepeno poppers, and seafood caps.
All three appetizers were quite tasty.
My favorite of the 3 was the seafood caps. A combination of shrimps, lobster and crab, mixed with creamcheese and topped with cheese and baked well.
The result is an amazing seafood cheesy melty combination of tastiness! Sure to be a pleaser to any seafood lover.
As my main dish fo dinner I had the mighter muncher burger with two onion rings inside. It was quite tasty aswell.
We were dissapointed as there were no pool tables, but other than that we had a great time and really enjoyed the food and the fast friendly service. "
