"Dark, Dingy But Felt Like Home"
February 2011 — "I had a business meeting over a few pints and some typical pub food. Upon walking in, you can smell the beer that's been spilled and soaking into the wood floor over the years. I didn't mind since it gave a rustic feel to the place. I found it too dark though.
I was a little disappointed that there were no Big Rock or Sleemans beer in the bottle. There were a few of them on tap though but I try to stay away from draft beer during the work week.
The price was reasonable as I had the Coyote Burger for $7.50. It was probably the most adventurous burger on the menu because it comes with jalapenos, cheddar, and guacamole as toppings. The burger was decent but I made the mistake of getting a side caesar salad which was doused with dressing. It was good dressing but it sogged down the romaine. To be fair though, I find most caesar salads to have too much dressing so I typically ask for dressing on the side. I forgot this time but had I remembered, it would have been a good salad.
The service was decent but not the most professional but it seemed to go with the casual atmosphere."

"Best value in town!"
October 2010 — "Moose McGuire's is a great place for good food at a really good price. The crowd that hangs out there is young because it is so close to the University, which makes the atmosphere pretty fun and easy going. The inside is really cool and wide open, and the food and beer are the best you will have for the price. I took my girlfriend for dinner and we each had 2 pints of beer and a main course. Our bill was only $36! Our server was really busy so the service wasn't great, but everything else was awesome. I had the Mexican pizza for $8. It was a really good size and was topped with everything you would expect to find on a taco or an order of nachos! I must say that the beer was especially good as well. It seems like they have really good specials on pretty much every day of the week so you're bound to find a good deal no matter when you go! If you want a cool, well priced place to hang out with your friends or a date, Moose McGuire's is the perfect choice! "

"Most EPIC Bar EVER!"

October 2010 — "I haven't been to Moose McGuire's in a REALLY long time but ended up there with my boyfriend recently. What a great place! I will not forgot about it again! Nestled away in a strip mall pretty close to the University and McMahon Stadium, it is the perfect place to hang, eat and drink especially if you are on a budget! The atmosphere is really cool, with a high ceiling, open concept, lots of tables, big screens, pool tables and a huge lit up shelving holding alcohol behind the bar. Staff members access the higher up bottles with a sliding ladder! Cool! Our service was a bit slow but since, we weren't in a hurry, it was no big deal. Being a Monday, pints of beer were on for $3.75. I ordered the beef dip and when it came, couldn't believe it was a mere $7.50!!! It was by far one of the best I have had in the city! Accompanied by a generous side of fries, it was extremely delicious! The beer was great, the food even better and the price was almost unbelievable! Moose McGuire's all the way! Try it out. You won't be disappointed!"

June 2010 — "I used to live around here, and never had a bad experience. I'd typically go there for a "cheat meal" and grab a burger, fries and maybe wings. Every time the good arrived in decent time, was delicious, and service is decent too. The brews taste great and there are enough tv's and if you're lucky a projector so you can see the game from any angle. Only downside is that its pretty dark, but there is a patio you can eat on (with not much of a view, but a patio). Oh, good prices as well, get the moose burger. Peace."

"Pre-game spot pretty good anytime"

August 2009 — "This is a favourite pre-Stamps spot for most people... As long as you don't mind getting there about four hours before the game starts, because this place is *packed*!
Unfortunately for my husband, I don't think I have that kind of patience! So we tried going on a non-game day. He insists they have the best wings in the city. While I can't confirm that for sure, I can tell you that they have a pretty good veggie wrap.
As is the case for most pubs, the best thing on their menu is their fries. A downside- unlike most pubs, you are charged to refill your soft drinks.
The proximity to the stadium is a clear bonus, and I'm sure it's a lot of fun when its packed with Stamps fans, even if I may never know for sure."
