November 2009 — "I love how everywhere you go, you can always somehow find a Chinese restaurant. My aunt took me to Fat Kee Noodle House for lunch and man, it was a full house for lunch. It's sort of hidden, near 36 Ave. It's got a good amount of parking spots, so it's easy to get to. There was a huge variety of different types of food, from the traditional congee, wonton noodle soups, to salt and pepper squid. I can't say I would boast about it, but it is cheaper than Calgary Court and teapot, and less of the line up you get at either of those places, I'm sure. Of course, staying consistent with most Chinese restaurants, the service is not top notch, and when it is busy, food takes a while to get out, but there is a familiarity to the dishes and the food. It was a good try and I would probably stop by next time I am in the area, just for a little change of pace. "

August 2009 — "Its not much to look at, but its probably some of the fastest service you will get in the city. The pot of hot tea arrived before we were even settled in, and already they are wanting to take our order. I had to ask them to give us a few minutes as they had a large selection on the menu and this was our first time here. The prices here are very inexpensive with main dishes averaging about $6-7 dollars. Compare this to the $12-$15 price tag in other Chinese eateries and you will agree that this is fantastic value. After deciding on the sweet and sour pork and won ton soup, we waved the server over and she took our order. Then literally, 3 minutes later our food arrived! I was astounded as to the speed and thought the quality of food must have suffered. After tasting my meal, it was not too bad at all. Soup was hot, pork was fresh and service was lightening fast. Add in the cheap price tag and this place cant be beat. "

June 2009 — "My boyfriend and I tried this place just today for lunch after reading another review about this place. The review was pretty accurate. Prices are great, food and service decent. We ordered the beef brisket on rice noodle and the black bean spareribs on white rice. Our bill came in just under $14! Not bad at all given Calgary’s high priced food. The service was also top notch. It was straight down to business and very efficient. They seated us right away and proceeded to get our tea and ask us what we wanted two seconds after having looked at the menu. There were many choices on the menu so we had to ask for a few more minutes to decide. After we ordered, the food came just as quickly as when we were seated. It wasn't amazing, but not bad either. To be honest, I question how fresh the dishes were since they weren’t steaming hot and seemed like it was just slapped together in the kitchen from premade items. I do however, still plan on recommending this place to friends based on value alone; it's authentic Chinese food for great a price. If your short on time and need a quick and cheap meal, this is the place to dine."

March 2009 — "We bumped into this restaurant by accident on a Saturday afternoon, and it turned out to be a pretty good place to have some quick and easy noodles.
I had a Shanghai noodle soup and the rest of my family had the same beef noodle soup. My noodles turned out to be the best of the lot, and it was a lot bigger than the beef noodle. The noodles in the beef noodle soup were not quite enough in my opinion, but it was cheap so i guess if you wanted more you would have to pay $1.50 for more noodles.
The place was clean but a bit on the noise side. I would go back to this restaurant if I'm in the area, but would not make a special trip just to go there though. "

Fat Kee Noodle House is a Peking and Cantonese cuisine restaurant. They offer great food and service for a low price.
