July 2008 — "How can you not stop at a place that has the name Ye Old Lick & Nibble. We just had to sample what the little ice cream parlor had to offer, and it was a warm afternoon so there was the perfect excuse. It was right next door to the cutest little opera house and movie theatre in Waterton and seemed to be the happening social place that afternoon. It had a seating area outside, which was very busy and a traditional counter service inside. They were serving Alberta-made Foothills ice cream in waffle and regular cones as well as in bowls and also had sundaes, floats, espresso shakes and other drinks on the menu. I opted for a double scoop of the maple walnut and my accomplice to the ice cream treat had the vanilla bean. Both flavours were yummy delicious, creamy but not too rich so they were still refreshing although I always find I need a drink after ice cream and this occasion was no exception. "
